Piotr
Zuchniewicz

Award winning Polish film editor based in London with over a decade of professional experience. He combines enthusiasm, dedication, and an open-minded approach to his craft. Piotr has collaborated on diverse projects, consistently delivering high-quality results and building meaningful creative collaborations. He focuses on finding the emotional centre of a scene and shaping it through rhythm, restraint, and performance.

Drawn to character-driven drama, he values clarity and believes tension often lives in what is withheld. He is interested in subtle shifts within performance, pauses, contradictions, and moments of stillness that reveal inner conflict. His experience across both fiction and documentary has strengthened his sense of narrative discipline and emotional authenticity, allowing him to shape stories with precision while preserving their human complexity.

He edited Burnt Country, nominated for the Student Academy Awards, and graduated from the National Film & Television School, where he received the Avid Excellence in Editing Award. His work has screened at Sheffield Doc/Fest, Doc Edge, AFI Fest, Camerimage, and Aesthetica Film Festival, where he won Best Editing.
